Climate Resilience Grant

NH Conservation Districts

Helping New Hampshire Farms invest in Climate Resilience.

The mission: To support and empower local farmers to build climate resilience throughout the Granite State.

Since 2022, the NH Conservation District Climate Resilience Grant has awarded almost $1.5 million to 184 on-farm projects across New Hampshire. These projects focused on reducing the impact that local agriculture has on climate change or increasing farm resiliency to changing climates, directly meeting challenges such as extreme weather events, increased pest pressure, and prolonged drought. For more information about past projects and climate impacts, visit: conservationnh.org.

This grant program is made possible through the work of Cheshire County Conservation District and grants from the You Have Our Trust Fund, the NH Charitable Foundation, and generous donations of community members. Funding is also provided by the USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program from the NH Department of Agriculture. (USDA is an equal opportunity employer, provider, and lender.)
